&& Cristiano Ronaldo scores his eighth goal in a week

Cristiano Ronaldo continued his hot scoring streak for Real Madrid as a Manchester United fan group flew a banner over Villarreal's El Madrigal stadium pleading with the Portuguese star to return to Old Trafford.

Real Madrid moved up to fourth in the La Liga table with Saturday's hard-fought 2-0 win against Villarreal, with Ronaldo scoring in his sixth straight game.

Real survived an early onslaught from Villarreal and won the game with two goals in eight minutes before the break as Luka Modric drilled home the opener before Ronaldo converted from Karim Benzema's pass to register his eighth goal in a week.

A third consecutive league victory moves the European champions to within a point of the leaders with Barcelona hosting Granada later on Saturday, whilst Sevilla travel to champions Atletico Madrid.

Messi is the boss of the football

Lionel Messi netted the 400th goal of his storied career on Saturday as Barcelona trounced Granada 6-0 to maintain the pace at the top of La Liga.

Messi scored twice and Neymar went one better with a hat-trick in Barca's rout but champions Atletico Madrid are on their tail after a late Raul Jimenez header completed a 4-0 victory over Sevilla that left them two points behind in second.

Real Madrid are also in hot pursuit, four points behind in fifth, after Cristiano Ronaldo kept up his rich scoring form with the second goal in a 2-0 win at Villarreal where Luka Modric had put them ahead.

Messi's extraordinary achievement of reaching the career landmark of 400 goals was the highlight of Barca's victory, leading to effusive praise for the great Argentine from manager Luis Enrique.

"He (Messi) is someone who has been given a real magic and who enjoys playing football. I was thinking about taking him off but I enjoy watching him so much that I left him on for the 90 minutes," Enrique told a news conference.

Messi's second goal, thieving the ball off Jeison Murillo and slotting past the keeper, was the landmark 400th -- his 358th for Barcelona to accompany the 42 he has scored for Argentina.

It illuminated Barca's perfect response following their 0-0 draw at Malaga, which featured not one shot on target and they now have 16 points from six games. Neymar broke Granada's stubborn resistance with a scrappy goal midway through the first half when his shot hit Jean-Sylvain Babin and looped over keeper Roberto Fernandez.

Then in the run-up to halftime Granada's concentration slipped as Ivan Rakitic headed home a Messi cross and Neymar got his second. A fine move led to Dani Alves volleying a cross for Messi to head home the fourth after 65 minutes before Neymar struck again to complete his treble four minutes later, confidently picking his spot in the corner.

"The team is looking very efficient at the moment whichever players we are putting out," said Luis Enrique.

FCB Great Win against Granada (6-0)

Luis Enrique finds himself in a tricky spot as Barcelona host Granada on Saturday. The team are fresh off a disappointing draw against Málaga in which they registered no shots on target – a first in over a decade – from which they must bounce back. On the other end, Barça travel to Paris next Tuesday to play Paris St-Germain in the most important fixture of their Champions League group.

Luis Enrique must simultaneously deliver a rejuvenated performance and rotate his squad so they will be fresh against PSG. And Granada are no easy proposition. It was the toothless loss away to Granada that ended Barcelona’s winning streak last April and left the team stumbling towards the finish line. From that point on, Barça took only 9 points from their last 6 games and eventually lost the league to Atlético Madrid on the final day of the season. Even at Camp Nou, Granada have managed to cause trouble for the Catalans. A home match to Granada in 2012 was one of Tito Vilanova’s first of many comeback wins. The Andalusians shut up shop and defended for 87 minutes, and it took a last-minute bullet from substitute Xavi Hernandez to break the deadlock. La Liga veteran manager Joaquín Caparrós is leading the visitors in his debut season at Granada. Caparrós’ men have 8 points from their first 5 games, with a solid defensive record but little offense – 4 goals scored, 3 conceded. Barcelona are unlikely to have their clean sheet record broken, but scoring goals will be more of a problem for the blaugrana. In their last game, Barcelona were forced to the wings by Málaga, and with Luis Enrique’s forwards tucked in narrowly, the burden to create play fell to the fullbacks. The most astonishing statistic of the match: all of the forwards combined (Messi/Neymar/Pedro/Munir/Sandro) had a total of 143 touches on the ball; the three full-backs who featured had a whopping 216 touches all match. Luis Enrique’s team is incredibly dependent on full-backs, who are unable to dribble defenders one-on-one and destabilize defenses. Lucho’s diamond midfield has stabilized the defense, but against Granada he may want to involve some touches of the traditional Barcelona 4-3-3 in order to improve creativity in the midfield.

$$ FCB first draw this seasons against Malaga

Málaga FC claims the first point against FC Barcelona Wednesday, who loses their 100% in a 0-0 draw Wednesday. Málaga FC was very attentive, playing a strong, defensive game that Barça could not penetrate. “Slow game?” Iniesta said after the final whistle, “We tried but Málaga was very defensive. We knew it, but couldn’t solve it. They did a good job, we’ll take the point.

” "We always aim to get three points but although people take it as given that we’ll always win, today showed that that’s not the case” said tonight’s FC Barcelona captain Andrés Iniesta after the first setback in what has until now been the perfect start to the league season. And he felt that it was Malaga’s defensive tactics that were the main cause of their failure to score at La Rosaleda.

Both Neymar and Messi were covered vigorously by the defense, while a few mistakes in the defense saw Bravo making several saves. The pitch in Andaluciá has had its share of criticism for being sticky. On the contrary, Neymar seemed to be sliding, unable to get a good handle on the ball in order to execute several chances. Still, Barça was missing the quick rhythm they have shown in the past few games. Meanwhile, Málaga were attentive and energetic throughout the game, constricting Barça’s chances.

FCB Manager, Luis Enriquez admitted, “It was the hardest game so far because the opposition got things right.” Enriquez had switched the line-up yet again, particularly in the defense where they continue to have trouble spots. Out were Mascherano, Jordi Alba and Mathieu. In came Douglas, who made his debut today playing right fullback, alongside Pique, replacing Matheiu. Bartra and Alba joined them in the back line, while the midfield and front trio remained the same from Sunday.

Angelina Jolie and Katie Holmes hot news by Times of India

"This Oscar winner is seen as the epitome of style and grace," it exclaims in regards to Angelina Jolie. "But her skinny arms and legs with bulging elbows and knees defy her style diva image. Her knees, in particular, could surely use some meat." She goes onto describe Katie Holmes as the "Cute and pretty" ex-wife of Tom Cruise, who "may be skinny on top, but has rather thick legs with muscular calves." And then there are the "Bolly Paradoxes". Like former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who "has legs that look better when covered". And actress Aditi Rao Hydari, who is "pretty" but "clearly not comfortable with her wobbly knees".

Louise Court, Editor-in-Chief of British women's magazine Cosmopolitan, was horrified by the piece. "This Times of India article actually made my jaw drop – which I should probably add, in the spirit of things, could do with more definition and was cushioned as it hit the desk by a bit of a double chin," she tells The Independent. "It is like an article from Viz. Women's bodies are not fair game. Creating the ideal of a 'perfect' image that women should look like is vile to the celebrities criticised but also heaps inferred pressure and criticism on the rest of womankind. "I was infuriated by it – but women struggling with their body image are made even more vulnerable.

Hot news: Due to heat FIFA says 2022 Qatar World Cup will harmful for players.

A top FIFA official says the 2022 World Cup won’t be held in Qatar because of dangers faced by players and fans in scorching temperatures. The Gulf State, which has faced repeated allegations of corruption, says they want to move the event to winter. The claims were made by Theo Zwanziger, who is a FIFA Executive Committee member.

He is adamant that the present plan to stage world football’s biggest event in the summer is not a viable option.  "I personally think that in the end the 2022 World Cup will not take place in Qatar," the German told Sport Bild on Monday. "Medics say that they cannot accept responsibility with a World Cup taking place under these conditions," the former head of the German football association added. Qatar has repeatedly said that the problem of playing in summer, where temperatures can reach in excess of 50 degrees Celsius, can be overcome by introducing cooling technologies inside the stadiums. "They may be able to cool the stadiums but a World Cup does not take place only there," Zwanziger said. "Fans from around the world will be coming and traveling in this heat and the first life-threatening case will trigger an investigation by a state prosecutor. That is not something that FIFA Exco members want to answer for." In May, FIFA President Sepp Blatter said it was a "mistake" to choose Qatar to host the 2022 World Cup.

FC Barcelona vs Malaga CF match reviews

Levante boss Luis Mendilibar clearly sent his team out with instructions to defend deep and try and hit Barça on the break and before Neymar broke the deadlock, it almost worked with only a brilliant last gasp tackle from Rakitic keeping out Casedesus on 14 minutes and Morales just failing to connect with a header soon afterwards.

Barça continued to probe, with Neymar and Alba creating danger down the left. Neymar had already had three chances before just past the half hour mark he peeled off the last man, as Messi found him with a brilliant through ball. This time the Brazilian made no mistake, rounded the keeper and made it 1-0 as the Messi-Neymar partnership struck again.

Five minutes later Barça looked set to double their lead when Messi was brought down in the box, but the Argentinean shot wide from the spot. With Vytner shown red for the penalty, Levante were down to ten and when just before the break Rakitic hit a beautifully struck volley from 35 yards to make it two, there could be few doubts about who’d be taking the three points.

Messi got his rewards with goal number 5 on 77 minutes when he latched onto a poor clearance, beat two defenders and chipped the keeper with a sublime piece of skill.

$$ FC Barcelona wins against Levante

Ivan Rakitic scored the pick of the goals as Barcelona cruised to a 5-0 win over Levante, who went down to ten men in the first half.

So that's an easy three points for Barcelona and they go back to the top of the fledgling La Liga table, while Levante stay rooted to the bottom with just one point and still no goals. Neymar, Ivan Rakitic, Sandro, Pedro and Lionel Messi all scored a goal apiece, while Messi missed a first-half penalty and Loukas Vyntra was sent off for Levante. That's all the action from Valencia tonight, thanks as always for joining us and see you next time!

US, Canada military announcement Russian force's planes at border

American and Canadian military reported intercepting Russian military aircraft near Alaska and Canada this week. Neither country’s airspace was violated. There were two separate incidents involving Russian military planes near North America. On Wednesday, two Mig-31 fighter jets were spotted in a US air defense identification zone (ADIZ) off the Alaska coast, with the US Air Force scrambling two F-22 jets to intercept them.

The US also identified two Tu-95 long-range bombers and two Il-78 refueling tankers nearby. On Thursday, two Russian Tu-95 bombers flew into Canada’s ADIZ and were intercepted by two Canadian F-18 jets. ADIZ is a zone projecting from a country’s coastline closely monitored by the military for possible threats. The US and Canada ADIZ extends some 200 miles into the sea. Since Russia renewed long-range air missions for its air force, Russian military aircraft have regularly flown near the US. In the past five years, the US has scrambled its fighter jets some 50 times to shadow the Russians, said John Cornelio, spokesman for NORAD and NORTHCOM. "We do not see these flights as a threat," he said. Some media linked the encounters with the annual Vostok military exercise currently underway in Russia’s east. But the Russian Defense Ministry on Saturday said the flights were part of a surprise combat readiness exercise, which was held in Russia days before the Vostok war games kicked-off. The ministry added there were four Mig-31s, not two, in the flight group intercepted near Alaska on Thursday.

US And Britain can be Attack by Russia of Mock Nuclear

Russia will soon launch a mock nuclear attack against the U.S. and Britain during military exercises over the next week. Moscow's Nezavisimaya Gazeta reports that Russia's strategic bombers and nuclear submarines "will deliver hypothetical nuclear strikes on the U.S. and Britain, while locating and destroying aircraft-carrier groups of the U.S. Navy.

" The massive air, sea and land maneuvers are being conducted in the wake of America's stunning victory over Iraq, a long time client state of Russia. The paper said the exercises are taking place because, "Russian military leaders have learned a lesson from the Iraq war, and intend to show the U.S. and its allies their determination to repel any potential threat coming from the West." The Russian military, in plans drawn up at the request of President Vladmir Putin, argues that the only way Russia can deal with an escalating regional conflict with the U.S., would be to employ nuclear weapons. Though Russia's military has been considerably downzied since the end of the Cold War, and its conventional forces hold little weight against a modern, equipped army, Russia has continued to invest heavily in strategic and tactical nuclear weapons. Sometime during the 90s, Russia attained nuclear superiority over the U.S. While Russia's large, strategic nuclear weapons have remained in parity with the U.S., Russia's tactical nuclear arsenal has been estimated to include between 20,000 to 40,000 weapons.

&& $108 million dollar man James Rodriguez scores an absurd goal for Real Madrid

Real Madrid crushed Deportivo La Coruña 8-2 Saturday in a game that wasn’t even close to competitive. Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat trick, and two of the goals Deportivo conceded were absolutely embarrassing. James Rodriguez’s first La Liga goal, however, was unstoppable.Deportivo allowed Rodriguez a few yards of space just outside the penalty area (not a good idea), and he curled a shot with his left foot over the goalkeeper, directly to the top corner at the far post. The shot was perfect.

Real Madrid agreed with Arsenal for Contract Rebel Sami Khedira

Arsenal have agreed ‘in principal’ to a deal to sign Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira in the January transfer window with the Bernabeu side keen to cash in on the 27 year old. Khedira has turned down the offer of a new contract and with his current deal set to expire next summer the Spanish giants wish to sell the former Stuttgart man when the transfer window re-opens to prevent losing the midfield battler on a free transfer.

Arsenal have put in an offer that meets Real Madrid’s €15m (£11m) price-tag and this would leave Arsene Wenger in the clear to negotiate with Khedira though the World Cup winner must first prove himself to have recovered from arthroscopic surgery on his knee before any deal can be struck. Wenger will be handed £30m to invest in his squad in January and the need to bring in a steely midfield presence is clear and the Gunners boss is known to have a long running interest in Khedira.

The defensively minded midfielder missed most of last term due to his knee injury but returned to help Real Madrid secure a Champions League triumph and then played a prominent role in Joachim Low’s national team triumph in Brazil before once again being sidelined with injury.

Pakistan:Shahid Afridi as Twenty20 captain

Afridi, 34, led Pakistan to the semi-finals of the World Twenty20 in 2010. He was removed from the post in 2011 after falling out with then coach Waqar Younis and the country's cricket board. He will lead the team with immediate effect, replacing Mohammad Hafeez who resigned in April following the team's exit from the World T20 in Bangladesh.

Pakistan under Afridi's leadership:

Afridi has captained Pakistan in 19 Twenty20 internationals between August 2009 and April 2011. Pakistan won eight and lost 11 Twenty20 matches under Afridi's leadership.

Afridi has played in 74 T20 internationals, scoring 1112 runs at an average of 19.17 and at a strike-rate of 144.04 with four fifties. He has also taken 77 wickets at 22.61 with an economy rate of 6.48.

FC Barcelona vs APOEL Nicosia match result :(1-0)

Barcelona will make their 2014-15 UEFA Champions League debut tomorrow, as they prepare to welcome Cypriot champions APOEL Nicosia to the Camp Nou in the opening match of Group F.

Following two impressive, yet narrow victories over Villarreal CF and Athletic Bilbao, the Blaugrana sense that tomorrow’s match presents them with an opportunity to make a statement to the rest of the footballing world: a statement that real progress has and is being made under the guidance of new head coach, Luis Enrique.

The appointment of the former club captain has revolutionised the club, prompting some to draw comparisons with Barça’s recent success and to dub Lucho as the "next Pep Guardiola".

Perhaps such comparisons are a little premature, but there can be no denying that the early signs are very positive indeed.

Neymar and Messi brilliance sees off brave Bilbao (2-0)

Two goals in five minutes late on from Neymar gave Barça a deserved win in an exciting game against Bilbao at the Nou Camp this afternoon. The Brazilian came on for Munir, who again gave a solid performance, just after the hour mark and his skill, speed and understanding with Messi tipped the scales Barça’s way against the determined and lively Basques.

World's sexiest man whose named Real Madrid star James Rodriguez

James Rodriguez could soon be attracting angry glances from Cristiano Ronaldo in the Real Madrid dressing room after being named the sexiest man in the world.

The Colombia international, who joined Real Madrid this summer for a fee in the region of £63m, had the honour bestowed upon him by People magazine’s Spanish-language edition.

His profile was raised dramatically by his six-goal showing at the World Cup as he top scored in Brazil as Colombia made the quarter-finals.

And now James’ boyish good looks have seen him collect another trophy to place alongside his Golden Boot. In the latest edition of ‘People en Espanol’, his wife explains what makes the playmaker so irresistible.

“He’s a very attractive man,” said Daniela Ospina. “But what I most like is the way he is, his personality. It’s what I really love.”

Rodriguez beginning to make Real Madrid mark

Expectations were unsurprisingly sky high when Colombia playmaker James Rodriguez joined Real Madrid from Monaco after top scoring with six goals at the 2014 World Cup.

Real, who play at Deportivo La Coruna in La Liga on Saturday, snapped up the golden boot winner for a fee of around 80 million euros ($103 million) and fans were eager to see the goals flowing from the boot of the gifted 23-year-old.

However, Real coach Carlo Ancelotti is having to reorganise his team after the exits of midfielders Xabi Alonso and Angel Di Maria and Rodriguez, who is known by his first name James, has taken time to settle.

Rodriguez scored in the Spanish Super Cup first leg against Atletico Madrid last month but it was his performance against FC Basle in the Champions League on Tuesday, when he netted Real's fourth goal in a thumping 5-1 win, that suggested he may be finding his feet at his new club.

"I played a good match," Rodriguez, whose boyish good looks mean he will be an integral part of Real's marketing strategy, told reporters at the Bernabeu.

"I think everything came off for us and as a group we did everything well," he added. "We hope to continue like this and keep scoring goals. This match gives us confidence for what lies ahead."

$Family Filmgoer reviews ‘Dolphin Tale 2’

Young Sawyer Nelson (Nathan Gamble) and the team at the Clear Marine Hospital are in danger of losing their beloved Winter if they don't find her another pool mate. With the help of Dr. Cameron McCarthy (Morgan Freeman) and his mother (Ashley Judd) they attempt to find Winter a companion and keep their dolphin home.

## Jameis Winston Suspended by Florida State for First Half Against Clemson

Florida State said Wednesday that quarterback Jameis Winston, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, would be suspended for the first half of the top-ranked Seminoles’ home game Saturday against No. 22 Clemson after he shouted an obscene statement in the student union Tuesday.

“As a result of his comments yesterday, which were offensive and vulgar, Jameis Winston will undergo internal discipline and will be withheld from competition for the first half of the Clemson game,” Florida State’s interim president, Garnett S. Stokes, and Athletic Director Stan Wilcox said in a joint statement.

The university declined to comment further.

At a prescheduled news conference Wednesday, just after the suspension was handed down, Winston said he wanted to apologize “to the university, to my coaches and to my teammates” and called his behavior “selfish.”

It is the latest incident involving Winston, who in late 2012 was accused of sexually assaulting a fellow student. Prosecutors declined to file charges in that case. The New York Times reported in April that the woman promptly contacted the police, but the Tallahassee Police Department conducted virtually no investigation. Earlier this month, the woman’s lawyer said Florida State had begun a disciplinary inquiry into the case.

% Real first to score 1000 goals

Real Madrid have become the first side to score 1,000 European goals, reaching the landmark during Tuesday's 5-1 thrashing of Basel.

Madrid were in complete command by half-time, establishing a 4-1 lead thanks to an own goal from Marek Suchy and efforts from Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and James Rodriguez. Derlis Gonzalez's goal was of little consolation to the Swiss. The game drifted in the second half but Madrid's night was capped by a fifth goal -- the club's 1,000th in continental competition -- from Karim Benzema 11 minutes from the end.

$$ Liverpool leave it late

The evening's big winners were the reigning champions Real Madrid, who crushed Swiss title-holders Basel 5-1 in Group B, while last season's beaten finalists Atletico Madrid suffered a 3-2 defeat against Olympiakos in Greece in Group A.

Liverpool were making their first appearance in the Champions League since 2009 and were widely expected to start with a victory against Bulgarian debutants Ludogorets. Brendan Rodgers's side laboured for long spells but when Mario Balotelli put them in front in the 82nd minute to open his Anfield account, they appeared to have the job done. Spanish substitute Dani Abalo stunned the hosts when he equalised in the first minute of stoppage time, but there was to be another twist as Javi Manquillo was fouled inside the box, allowing Gerrard, so often a scorer of crucial late goals in the past, to convert a 93rd-minute spot-kick.

Cristiano Ronaldo's shock return to Manchester United

$$$_ Ask anybody who stay with Cristiano Ronaldo about his time at Manchester United and two comment always come back. Firstly, it was a mutual sense of him being part of a family at Old Trafford, a place where a boy from Madeira was made to feel totally at home.

But the second comment is never far behind – that between November and April, he simply hated the Manchester climate and spent the cold, damp mornings and dark winter nights pining for a place where the sun did not spend every day hidden behind forbidding grey clouds

Priyanka Chopra talks about Mary Kom's

$$_ Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra's recently released film Mary Kom's. Box office collection has become the latest point of discussion. Well, not for the number of crores the film has made but the comparison that is doing the rounds about how She has earned more money acting as Mary Kom than Mary Kom earned all her life being herself.

Just because it makes for great irony to highlight the plight of sportswomen in India, does not justify comparing our salaries to point out the sad state of Indian women sports in India. I and the film makers at least have brought the story to the forefront in the best way that we can.
